Item # MSL-03 Tom Matte Tom Matte of the Baltimore Colts was the hero of the 1968 NFL Championship game against the Cleveland Browns when he scored three touchdowns in that game. In the 1965 NFL playoffs Tom was pressed into playing quarterback when Johnny Unitas and the Baltimore's backup quarterback were both injured. Tom was the Colt's running back, but he had played quarterback for Woody Hayes' run oriented T-formation. Coach Don Shula adjusted the offense to suit Tom's style of play and typed plays to fit inside Matte's wristband. This 11 x 14 inch limited edition unmatted print is one of only 75 signed and numbered by the artist and authentically autographed by Tom Matte in red sharpie. It will attract plenty of attention in your home or office. This is also a great gift idea for a loved one or a unique auction item for a charity fundraising event
