Item # OSL-24 Women's NCAA Runner-Up In 1993, the Buckeye women's basketball squad coached by Nancy Darsch became the first Big Ten team to advance to the NCAA Final Four. The team led by Katie Smith fell three points shy of winning the National Championship, losing 84-82 to Texas Tech. The team set a school record for most wins(28). For Nancy it was her eighth Big Ten title in twelve years. By the time Katie graduated, she became the Big Ten women's career scoring leader with 2,578 points and was a two-time Kodak All-American. Katie went on to play for the world champion Columbus Quest of the ABL. This print was done as a tribute to that team and their accomplishments. This 18 x 24 inch limited edition unmatted print is one of only 500 signed and numbered by the artist and not autographed. This print will be the focal point of your memorabilia collection. It will attract plenty of attention in your home or office. This is also a great gift idea for any Ohio State fan, loved one or a unique auction item for a charity fundraising event.
