Item # OSL-13 OSU~Notre Dame Heisman Roast In 1994, Artists for Athletes did a limited edition art print for Toledo Central Catholic for a fund raising event. Heisman trophy winner, Paul Hornung, was roasted at a banquet by five other Heisman Trophy winners, three from Ohio State and two more from Notre Dame. They were Johnny Lattner, Leon Hart, Archie Griffin, "Hopalong" Cassady and Vic Janowicz ( recently deceased ) . This 18 x 24 inch limited edition unmatted art print is one of only 300 signed by the artist. This particular print was authentically autographed in black sharpie by all six Heisman Trophy winners at the banquet. They were Leon Hart, Paul Hornung, Johnny Lattner, Archie Griffin, "Hopalong" Cassady and Vic Janowicz. It is estimated that under 50 prints were signed by all of them. Over 200 unsigned prints were distributed to people on their way out, so very few of these prints ever got autographed. This will be a great piece to display in your home or office. This is also a great gift idea for a loved one or a unique auction item for a charity fundraising event.
