Item # OSL-03 Pete Johnson Pete Johnson was more than a blocking back for Archie Griffin. Pete led the nation in scoring in 1975, tallying a school record as well as Big Ten record 26 touchdowns. The 156 points he scored that year and his 348 career points are still school records. In his junior year, he earned All-Big Ten honors, rushed for over 1,000 yards and converted 34 of 54 third down tries. He is tenth on the all-time list in career rushing yards for Ohio State.
