Item # OSL-02  Vic Janowicz

Vic Janowicz easily captured Ohio State's second Heisman Trophy in 1950 as a junior.  He may have been the best all-round football player to ever play for the Buckeyes.  Vic excelled in every phase of the game, playing single-wing halfback on offense and safety on defense.  He led Ohio State in passing yards in 1950 and then led them in rushing yards in 1951.  Vic also did the field goal kicking and the punting as well.  He kicked 10 extra points in one game.  In the 1950 "Snowbowl", he punted a record 24 times for 685 total yards in a single game.  He died in 1966.

This 11 x 14 inch limited edition unmatted print is one of only 100 signed and numbered by the artist and authentically autographed by Vic Janowicz in red sharpie.  This was the very first sport art print done by our company.  Since his death, it has become priceless.  It will attract plenty of attention in your home or office.  This is also a great gift idea for a loved one or a unique auction item for a charity fundraising event.
